The Need

Displaced women and children are the main victims of conflict; they are the ones who suffer the most, especially in the areas of health where simple diseases are the cause of higher national mortalities.

This vulnerable group are more susceptible to preventable diseases, especially since they are now returning to their original/ancestral homelands that currently do not have medical facilities, or have sub-standard medical facilities that provide minimal medical care that is only accessed via walking for up to 10 kilometers one way at a time, which is not feasible in the event when one is severely ill.

These women and children need to have a mobile medical service that reaches them in order to be able to receive medical attention.
